These Jalapeno Cream Cheese Roll-Ups have a little bit of heat with a little bit of saltiness, wrapped up in a buttery, flaky crescent roll. This is such an addicting appetizer recipe!
Aren’t jalapenos just the best?? I know that jalapenos have some heat, but I still love them! Especially when paired with cream cheese. It cools off the spiciness perfectly, which was just the case with these Jalapeno Cream Cheese Roll-Ups!
These are easy to whip up in no time and they’re a definite crowd-pleaser. There are only three ingredients and would make the best appetizer to bring to a guest’s house, to a super bowl party, or (if you’re like me) to just eat at home, all by yourself.
Jalapeno Cream Cheese Roll Ups
These Jalapeno Cream Cheese Roll Ups have little bit of heat with a little bit of saltiness, wrapped up in a buttery, flaky crescent roll. This is such an addicting appetizer recipe!
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup minced jalapenos
- 8 oz tube of regular crescent rolls
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a cookie sheet.
-
In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese and jalapenos. Mix well and set aside.
-
Open your sheet of crescent rolls (do not separate them) and lay them on the counter.
-
Separate long ways on the perforation, so you have two long sheets of crescent rolls with 4 rolls each in them.
-
Pinch the remaining perforations together on each of the two sheets (use a rolling pin if necessary) to make two continuous crescent roll sheets.
-
Divide the cream cheese mixture in half and spread evenly over each crescent sheet.
-
Roll them up hot dog style (or from the short end), to make a long cream cheese/crescent roll. Do this with both crescent sheets.
-
Cut each cream cheese/crescent roll-ups into 12-16 pieces, depending on how big you want your resulting poppers to be.
-
Place each one, standing up, on your cookie sheet and bake in the oven for 11-13 minutes.

So I saw these somewhere (probably pinterest) and made them a couple of weeks ago. And they were DELISH! and while I was at it, (not being healthy at all) I went ahead and added some real bacon bits to the mixture AND IT TOOK IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL! I highly suggest it. You can’t go wrong with bacon.

Love these! Try drizzling a peach or mango chutney over them. SO GOOD!

Have made these 3 times now in the past month! The hottest by far has been the canned jalapeños – the juice gets mixed throughout the cream cheese. Raw jalapeños are really subtle, and DO NOT USE canned mild chilis (I tried these only after my store didn’t have any canned jalapeños – it was such a disaster that I took them with me, but didn’t even take them out of the car for the party!!!). These are soon good. This last time, I put them on a plate with some bacon, and they ended up with a bacony taste. Maybe I’ll try to incorporate bacon next time. The possibilities are endless!!!!!!
highheelsandgrills says
Wow, this is awesome!! The bacon options sounds amazing. I may need to try that. Thanks for the suggestions and for stopping by! XO

Absolutely delicious!!! Took this up a notch, in my opinion, and roasted whole jalapeños on the grill, removed the skins, tops, and seeds, and chopped, instead of using fresh jalapeños. Slight modification to the original recipe, but both roasted and fresh would be fantastic.
