Don’t you just love a holiday treat that is yummy and cute? These are the epitome of that, in my opinion. I love that they are a no bake treat as well! Those are the best kind of treats to go in your holiday neighbor goodie bags!
Chocolate Covered Pretzel Christmas Trees
Quantities vary
Ingredients:
- 1 bag stick pretzels
- 1 {16 oz.} pkg white melting chocolate {I used Candiquik}
- Green food coloring
- Yellow star sprinkles {I found mine at Walmart}
- Red sparkle writing gel
Directions:
- Melt chocolate according to package directions.
- Add food coloring until chocolate is your desired color of green.
- Dip a pretzel into chocolate about 3/4 of the way down and place on wax paper.
- Break 3 pretzels into thirds.
- Dip 8 of the thirds in the chocolate and connect to the whole pretzel {4 on each side} at a slant on the wax paper.
- Immediately top with a yellow star.
- Once hardened, place dots of the wiritng gel randomly on the tree to symbolize ornaments.
I hope you enjoy making these cute pretzel treats and have a very merry Christmas!

These are really cute. How did you get the smaller 1/3 length fully dipped? Thanks!

Thanks Karen! So, I use a fork to dip all my stuff. I submerged the small pieces fully in the chocolate and then I lifted it up with my fork and I would rub the fork on the edge of the bowl of chocolate and all the excess would run off through the slats of the fork. Does that make sense?

adorable! I like this version because you used the pretzels as the branches – more sturdy and more pretzel! Pinning 🙂

adorable! I was about to ask the same question about how you dipped them. I am so making these! Thanks for sharing at Talking Tuesday.

Just a comment: we used the red gel as recommended, but the dots now stick to anything they touch–wax paper, the other trees in the container, etc. Another time I would probably use either candy sprinkles or some kind of icing that hardens better.
