Holy toledo, is it just us, or has it been really warm where you’re at too, lately? We’ve had 50-60 degree weather for the past few days and I have been loving it! {Now, all you Texas, California, and Florida peeps, don’t rub it in. Just let me enjoy this happy moment.} Not only has it felt like warmer weather is coming, it has smelled like it too. Is that weird? Does anyone else notice that spring has a smell? Either way, I’m super excited about it. I’m sharing these S’mores Pops to celebrate the excitement of summer. Although, I’m not big into the heat, it sure beats the frigid cold. I can’t wait to be able to have a big bonfire and roast some real s’mores! These babies will have to do for now.
S’mores Pops
Makes about 2 dozen S’mores Pops
Ingredients:
- 16 oz. melting chocolate {I use Candiquik}
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- Lollipop sticks, cut in half
- 1 bag regular-sized marshmallows
Directions:
- Melt chocolate according to package directions.
- Place graham cracker crumbs in a shallow bowl or on a plate.
- Press a lollipop stick into a marshmallow.
- Dip the marshmallow in the chocolate, leaving the top part of the mallow undipped.
- Roll the marshmallow in the graham cracker crumbs until evenly coated. {Sometimes, my chocolate would slide around when I rolled it in the crumbs, but that’s the beauty of the chocolate being covered. I just wiped off the goopy part and re-rolled it and you couldn’t even tell.}
- Place the mallows on a sheet of wax paper and let sit until the chocolate has hardened.
Here’s to wishing it was summertime already!
