This Turkey, Bacon, and Avocado Panini is definitely my favorite sandwich as of late. I crave it all the time and I love that I can make it at home!
Back when Zach and I were dating, my mom introduced us to the goodness of turkey and avocado sandwiches. That was all she would put on them – turkey and avocado, plus a little bit of salt and pepper. It was super simple, but we LOVED them. Then after we got married, we had a 36-hour car drive to Alabama that we were supposed to make and since we were a couple of newlyweds with no money, we decided it’d probably be easier to pack our lunches. What was the only lunch we ate that entire trip? You got it – turkey and avocado sandwiches. We still love them to this day, but we’ve taken things up a notch to make them a little bit tastier. We added bacon {who doesn’t love bacon?!}, tomato, and mozzarella cheese.
I can almost guarantee that once you taste this, you’ll be hooked. Best. Sandwich. Ever.

If it's not already cut, cut your Sandwich Roll in half.

On the other half of bread, spread the mashed avocado and sprinkle with salt.
-
Press the two halves of bread together and then butter each side with 1/2 tsp. butter.

Cook in a frying pan on medium/low heat {Or if you have a George Foreman, use that. It works like a charm!}, until both sides are lightly browned and cheese is melted.
