Some girls in my neighborhood and I had a craft day this weekend. We were all supposed to bring a craft we are working on for the holidays along with a treat. There were muffins and lemon bread and orange juice and all sorts of yummy breakfast foods. And what did I bring? These chocolate covered pretzel pumpkins. Did I mention that craft day started at 8 am? It’s never too early for chocolate!
Chocolate Covered Pretzel Pumpkins
Makes 3-4 dozen pumpkins
Recipe adapted from Butter with a Side of Bread
Ingredients:
- 16 oz. white melting chocolate {I used Candiquik}
- Orange food coloring
- 1 bag tiny twist pretzels
- Green M&Ms
Directions:
- Heat the melting chocolate according to package directions.
- Add food coloring until chocolate is desired tint of orange.
- Dip pretzels in chocolate, remove excess chocolate, and then let rest on a sheet of wax paper.
- Immediately place a green M&M at the top of the pretzel.
- Let sit until chocolate is set.
These are super simple really, but everyone will adore them!
