I love me a good, healthy {or at least somewhat healthy} snack. Which is exactly what these Loaded Apple Slices are. They really don’t need a recipe because they’re that simple, but I’m going to share with you what I did. Just in case you were wondering.
Loaded Apple Slices
Makes 16 apple slices
Ingredients:
- 2 medium sized apples {Can use red or green}
- 1/2 cup peanut butter {I use smooth}
- 1/2 cup of your favorite granola {This Coconut Peanut Butter Granola is my favorite}
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Directions:
- Cut the apples into 8 slices each.
- Top the apples with 1/2 Tbsp. peanut butter and 1/2 Tbsp. granola.
- In a small bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil – microwave in 15 second intervals, stirring each time, until chocolate is completely melted.
- Drizzle the chocolate over the apples.
Eat away my friends!
