Welcome to Easy Meal Plan #30!
Man, what a week. A certain, unnamed two year old is on an official nap strike and I’ll be lucky if I make it through it. Everybody finds it necessary to inform me that she probably doesn’t need a nap anymore, but my gut tells me that it is just a phase and she will get over it. I just hope it happens quick, because this mama is going a little crazy! If you have ever struggled with putting a child down for a nap, then you can definitely relate and we are basically friends now because we both get it. Glad we could have this bonding moment.
While I’m trying to get through all of this, I’m so happy to have this easy meal plan to help me along the way!

I’ve been there Sarah, just hang in there! I too felt that my kids still needed a nap, even if for a time it was hard. I read somewhere that even up to age 5 it’s good for kids to take naps (a short nap at that age, but still a nap). Kayley still napped consistently at 4 (but not at 2 1/2 mind you ????). And she’ll occasionally take naps now after kindergarten. Lana will nap pretty much every day. It’s good for their brains and mom’s sanity. Don’t give up! PS- one tip I tried was to stop using the word “nap.” I’d say “let’s have quiet time today. You don’t have to fall asleep, just lay down quiet in your bed.” It didn’t happen w/o effort, but sometimes it helped.
On a food related note, thanks for these menus! That lemon chicken looks amazing!
