Being a food blogger, we cook a lot of food in this house. Which is fine by me because I love food, but we end up having a lot of left overs as well. Half the time, I can’t find a lid for the tupperware to put the left overs in and saran wrap? Saran wrap and I are not friends. I tried to take some treats to a couple friends the other day. Here’s how the scenario went down:
- Place treats on a paper plate.
- Tear off required amount of saran wrap. {And by tear, I mean you may have to use some scissors, because the built in serrated edge works like crap.}
- Take five minutes out of your day to unstick the saran wrap from itself because right after you tore it off, it wadded itself up in a ball and refuses to come undone.
- Neatly place the saran wrap over the goodies and stick the ends to the bottom of the plate.
- Oh wait, that didn’t work? Weird. Keep trying to stick it to the plate only to have to resort to taping it because it doesn’t do the one thing it was made for – sticking to things.
- You can’t find any tape.
- Hold the saran wrap lightly over the plate of goodies, while you drive to your friend’s houses, without getting in a wreck.
- Walk up to friend’s doorstep, only to have the wind blow your saran wrap away, nullifying the last 20 minutes you spent getting the dang stuff in place.
Like I said – saran wrap and I are not friends. For the reasons listed above, this is why I love Press N’ Seal. But even then, you run out of it eventually and let’s be honest – that stuff is not cheap. I hate that it’s dispensable. Which is where these CoverMate Food Covers come in.
Not only are they super easy to use by just stretching them over your dish and leaving it at that, but they’re reusable too! I’ve washed plenty of them and they hold up like a champ. They also come in 4 different sizes, depending on what you need to cover. Awesome.
This is where the fun part happens. I’ve teamed up with Sandra from A Dash of Sanity and Danelle from Let’s Dish to give nine of you a pack of food covers to your very self! The grand prize winner will also get a $50 Amazon Gift Card. You’re welcome. To enter, fill out the Rafflecopter below.
Good luck, folks!
