THIS NO BAKE BANANA PUDDING LAYER DESSERT STARTS WITH A BUTTERY LAYER OF VANILLA WAFERS, IS TOPPED WITH A NO BAKE CHEESECAKE LAYER, NEXT IS BANANA PUDDING WITH REAL BANANAS, AND IS TOPPED OFF WITH WHIPPED TOPPING AND WAFER CRUMBS. IT IS SUCH AN EASY AND INEXPENSIVE DESSERT RECIPE!
Today is a special day, not only because I have this very delicious no bake banana pudding layer dessert recipe to share with you, but also because some fellow bloggers and I are throwing a virtual baby shower for the oh, so lovely, Angie Barrett from Big Bear’s Wife! *SURPRISE!*
I haven’t ever met Angie in person, but that is one of my favorite things about blog world is you don’t have to meet to feel connected. I remember seeing her blog before I even started blogging {which was 5+ years ago, mind you!}, so she has been around forever and has definitely made a name for herself. If you haven’t been to her blog, you need to go if for nothing else than to check out her Halloween recipes. They are seriously the coolest! She is so creative and talented in what she comes up with.
Anyway, Angie was due with her very first baby next month, but he surprised everyone and came early this week! I remember when she first announced she was expecting this last spring and I was so stinking excited for her. She has shared the fact that is has taken a while for her and her husband to get to this point and I am beyond thrilled for them to be able to welcome this baby boy into their life. She is a beautiful and talented lady and I know she is going to make the best mom.
I knew that Angie has an affinity for southern food, with a whole section dedicated to it on her blog right now, so I thought what better way to celebrate her than with a little banana pudding action?! Ironically, Zach and I just moved to the south {Louisiana} last month, so I have been slowly immersing myself in southern food. I still haven’t been brave enough to dive into crawfish or alligator yet, but maybe by the time we leave in a few years, that will hit me. But for now, give me all of this no bake banana pudding layer dessert and I will be one happy gal!
