Hey, friends! I have had numerous people ask me if I offer a weekly dinner meal plan of any kind and I have been hesitant to actually make it happen. I plan my meals every week because I find that it makes things cheaper {less trips to the grocery store and more opportunity to use what we already have}, less stressful {just look at the calendar to see what we are eating for dinner}, and it keeps us from going out every night {which, believe me – we used to do that a LOT}. If I’m being honest though, I don’t actually cook a meal every night. *Gasp* There are only 3 of us here at home {Addi is actually more like a half}, so sometimes, I will cook two or three nights in a row and then eat leftovers the next night. Obviously, this would be different if we had a larger family, so when I say that this is my meal plan, it might not be EXACTLY how my week goes. But, if you do have a larger family, then maybe you do need a meal every night, so I thought I’d plan it accordingly.
I want everyone to experience the ease that can come from dinnertime and I truly believe that it starts with a weekly dinner meal plan! Plus, the more practice you get, while actually cooking in your kitchen, the better cook you will become. Everybody wins here. 😉
So, this week, I have a few oldies, but goodies for ya. I kind of cringe when I look at some of these pictures that I took, way back in the day when I started my blog. BUT, the recipes haven’t changed, so don’t judge a recipe by its picture…or something like that. There are a variety of meat and meatless meals this week and I planned a crockpot recipe on Saturday, because come on – Saturdays are meant for playing outside and running through sprinklers. Not slaving away in the kitchen. Also, that dessert is amazing. You’re definitely going to want to make it.
