Welcome back to this week’s Work It Wednesday!
First off, did you know that this week marks one whole year of this blog’s existence?? Crazy! We’re throwing a giveaway for a Canon camera and cute camera bag to celebrate, so be sure to enter here.
Second, remember a few weeks ago when I was having a nursery conundrum and I was super bummed about how the colors were panning out? Well. Things have changed. That brown recliner has set the mood for the entire nursery and as of now, I’ve got a pretty strong brown and white theme going on. I was afraid that I wouldn’t like it and although I don’t absolutely love it yet, it’s well on its way!
I couldn’t find a cute brown and white crib sheet that I liked online or in stores, so when I came across this tutorial, all of these ideas started racing through my brain! I found the cutest striped white and brown fabric and this was the easiest tutorial in the world to follow. It turned out awesome! I know brown isn’t the girliest color in the world, but I’m envisioning making brown and white the base and then adding some pops of color. I’ll be sure to post some pictures when it’s all finished! Until then, I’m going to wait patiently for this little girl to make her big debut. She put me on bed rest at 32 weeks and now she’s being a stubborn little princess and doesn’t want to come. Ever. Hopefully that will change this week.
Anyway, let’s get on to the party, shall we? This week’s most viewed link was:
Best Ever Pasta Salad from Yummy Healthy Easy
I’m always looking for a good pasta salad recipe. Looks like this may be my go-to one from now on! As for my favorite links from the week, they are:
Biscoff Granola from Heather’s French Press
Apple Dessert from Sticky Kisses and Dirty Dishes
DIY Firepit, Patio, and Backyard from Married Filing Jointly
Glazed Doughnut Muffins from Mostly Homemade Mom
Crockpot Chicken and Vegetable Lasagna from Butter with a Side of Bread
Thank you everyone for participating in Work It Wednesday! Everything look so great! If you were featured, be sure to grab yourself a featured button here! Now…let’s get down to the nitty gritty. All I ask is that you remember 3 simple rules:
